Happy Halloween

We had a fun Halloween this year. The day started out with Joseph getting sworn in as a member of the Utah State Bar.

Then we took the kids downtown to trick- or- treat at Grammie Doll's and have some chili and cornbread. We went to Grandma and Grandpa Koelliker's after that and then went to a few neighborhood houses. It was our first Halloween in Salt Lake and it was so fun to take Owen trick-or-treating to grandparent's houses and to hear him say "trick or treat" over and over again. And I loved handing out candy to all the trick-or-treaters; every year we have been married I have bought Halloween candy even though we have always lived in apartments where no kids would come trick-or-treating- and I would always wait and think maybe somebody would come knowing that no one would- but this year the doorbell didn't stop ringing and it was so fun to see all the kids and to hand out the candy!
