In January, during Joseph's last Christmas break of law school, we decided to enjoy it and do a little globe-trotting. We spent some time in Barcelona with the Hinckley's. And in Greenwich/NYC with Lizzie and JT. Owen was a fantastic traveler and even picked up a little Spanish ("more leche, por favor").

In February, Owen hosted a Valentine's party with his friends.
In March, we went to Cincinnati to spend spring break with the Lesans.
In April, we decorated Easter eggs while Joseph studied for his last round of finals.
In May, Joseph turned 28 and graduated from law school, all on the same day. Holly and Spencer came to Lawrence to celebrate. We enjoyed our last days in Kansas by going to a Royals game and taking in our favorite KC spots. After that, we packed up our little apartment and moved to SLC, all while anticipating the arrival of our baby girl.
In June, Joseph started his new job and studied for bar exam; Owen took swimming lessons and helped mow the lawn.
In July, we went to the Scipio Rodeo. Joseph took the bar exam and then we celebrated by taking a vacation to Park City.
In August, Uncle Spencer took Owen and his cousins canoeing on Silver Lake.
In September, Catherine Camille Hinckley arrived!

In October, Owen played t-ball, went to preschool, and Owen and Catherine went trick-or-treating.

In November, Catherine was blessed and we hosted Thanksgiving dinner at our house.
In December, we were privileged to be in the Nativity in the Glen and spend time with our family during the holidays.
Here's to a happy 2012!
