Easter.

Earlier last week we decorated some eggs in preparation for Easter.



Owen loved his "B-ball" eggs full of candy.



We took a couple of Easter pictures, the weather was so nice- we are so happy to see some sun and to be able to enjoy the outside!





It was such a nice Easter Conference weekend, we loved hearing all the talks during general conference and to share the day with family and friends.

Home.

This past week I went to Salt Lake. It was so nice to see my parents and to be with family. We did some fun shopping, ate good food and enjoyed some nice and not so nice weather.

Our favorite little market is closing. I went in for one last treat and all the shelves were practically empty, some of the lights were off, and the store was cold- it was so sad.

We had a baby shower for my friend Cassi the night before we left Salt Lake; it was fun to see so many of my friends from high school and college. Jenny, Megan, and I hosted the shower together- we are so excited for Cassi and can't wait to meet her baby girl soon!

Spring Break

This year we decided to get out of Kansas for Spring break. We visited Joseph's sister Holly, and her family in Cincinnati; it was so fun to be with them and the weather was so nice. Joseph's younger sister Lizzie also flew in town and we loved going to the Taft museum, downtown Cincinnati, the zoo, parks, the sweet shop, and just relaxing with family. We had a fun time and it almost made the foot of snow we came back to in Kansas not seem that bad...almost.

Bob the Baker

This week we went with the playgroup to see Bob the Baker at Great Harvest. Owen liked all the mixing and playing with the flour and dough and at the end we each got a warm slice of bread with butter, it was so good!

Valentine's

I know it is a little late, but I want to post a few pictures of our Valentine's Day this year. I was looking back at last years picture on Valentine's Day and I couldn't believe what a difference a year makes, what happened to my baby!?!

Sweet Henry.

My brother, Robert and his wife Erin, had their first little boy last week. His time on earth was short and we will miss him so much, but are so grateful for eternal families and the peace and comfort we have found during this time.

Here comes the sun...

Goodbye January, hello February! The sun was shining today and it was nice to be outside for just a little bit. It has been so cold here in Kansas that we would just run to and from our car whenever we had to go outside. We're hoping the sun will shine a little bit more!
